By accessing and using Pequata's website and associated services (collectively, including all content and functionality available through the pequata.com domain, referred to as "Pequata"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. This agreement applies to all users, including standard members, premium members, business account holders, and account managers.
Pequata may update these Terms of Service periodically. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users via email of major updates; however, users should review the current Terms of Service regularly to stay informed of any changes. Continued use of Pequata following such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
All users must maintain the security of their accounts. Pequata employs strong encryption protocols, password security, and secure connections to protect user data. Users are responsible for reporting any suspicious activity or unauthorized account access to security@pequata.com.
The registration process involves a three-step verification for security:
Pequata contains links to external sites and integrates services from trusted partners like Stripe and Stellar. We provide these integrations to enhance user experience but do not control or endorse the policies, content, or practices of third-party services. Users should review the terms of any third-party services before engaging.
All payments are processed securely through Stripe, and users must adhere to the Stripe Services Agreement. Pequata does not store sensitive payment information and relies on Stripe's secure infrastructure for payment transactions.
Pequata is committed to maintaining user privacy and ensuring data security. We use industry-standard encryption and security practices to protect user information. Our Security Policy encourages responsible reporting of vulnerabilities and prohibits malicious activities. Users can report security issues to security@pequata.com.
Pequata is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind. While we strive for accuracy, we cannot guarantee error-free, uninterrupted, or virus-free service. Users assume full responsibility for any risks associated with their use of the platform.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Pequata and its associates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including but not limited to loss of revenue, profit, or data. This limitation does not apply to cases of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
Users agree to indemnify and hold Pequata harmless from claims, losses, or damages arising from their use of the platform, including any violations of these terms.
Pequata accounts are available to users aged 18 and older who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents. Business accounts require a valid Employer Identification Number (EIN).
Pequata operates under the jurisdiction of Schoharie County, New York, United States. Disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the laws of the State of New York and resolved within Schoharie County.
Pequata reserves the right to modify these Terms of Service at any time. Users will be notified of significant amendments through email or in-app notifications, and continued use constitutes acceptance of updated terms.
